Your world revolves around software and your heart beats for video streaming? You have always wanted to be part of the development of a brand new product? If yes, you should become a member of our team.

 

Who we are

We are a team of 20 people from different countries and a wide range of disciplines. The ratio of men to women is around 50% and the average age is just over 30. We moved into a brand new, fully air-conditioned, huge office in May, where we even have our own gym. The working atmosphere is relaxed, professional and international. Cohesion and team spirit are very important to us, which is why we have regular team events and meet more often after work.

 

What we do

At screens we develop an interactive online video platform that allows you to click through the latest infotainment systems and compare hundreds of use cases across different cars. To put it bluntly we are Netflix for the automotive industry. Joking aside, from a technical viewpoint we are facing the same technical challenges like Netflix or YouTube:

• How to distribute our video content around the world?
• How to rollout features to a customer base that never sleeps?
• How can we grow our customer loyalty through new innovative features?

What you will be doing

• As a Full Stack Developer you will work together with our tech team in an agile setup to further enhance our video streaming platform screens
• You are responsible for the development and implementation of new product features
• You write robust semantic HTML and SASS
• You write code that works in all browsers and platforms and create responsive sites
• You will be a crucial part in optimizing our platform for the Chinese market

 

Who we search

• You are a Full Stack Deveoper with good German and English skills (B2 Level)
• You have experience with front-end and back-end technologies such as TypeScript, Angular as well as Nodejs
• Perhaps you already have experience with ngrx/Redux, GraphQL, Nestjs, SASS, MongoDB, Git, SCRUM, NX or Docker
• You are enthusiastic, curious and learn quickly

 

Last but not least, here are a few tech details

• Frontend stack: Angular 2+ with SASS, Jest, Apollo
• In our Backend we mainly use Nestjs with GraphQL
• All our code is written in TypeScript
• We try to share as much as code possible between backend and frontend, that's why we are using a NX-monorepo approach
• We are using the GIT-branching-model for development
• New commits are automatically validated via a CI-pipeline
